This policy explains how True Rate ("we", "us") handles information on this website. Plain English, no tricks.

The short version

The free calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us.
If you join the email list, we get your email (and first name if you give it).
If you buy, Stripe processes the payment. We never see your full card number.
We don't sell your information.

What we collect and why

Email list (Kit / ConvertKit): email address, optional first name, and which link or post brought you here (for example "utm_source" and "utm_content" tags in the link you clicked). We use this to send the free sheet you asked for, occasional pricing tips, and to learn which of our posts are useful.
Purchases (Stripe): name, email, billing details and the order amount, plus the same link tag. We use this to deliver your purchase, handle refunds and support, and keep required business records.
Hosting (Cloudflare): our host may process standard technical data such as IP address and browser type to serve and protect the site.
Browser storage: the site keeps the link tag (utm values) in your browser's session storage so it can be attached to a purchase or signup during the same visit. It's cleared when you close the tab. We don't set advertising cookies.

Who processes your information

Stripe (payments), Kit (email), Cloudflare (hosting), and Google Fonts (typefaces, loaded from Google's servers). Each handles data under its own privacy policy.

Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing our support inbox. Some purchase records must be kept for tax and legal reasons.
Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights. Contact us and we'll help.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above.
