Terms of sale & use

These terms cover the True Rate "Price This Job" kit and this website, sold by True Rate ("we", "us"). By buying or using the kit you agree to them.
What you're buying
A digital download: a spreadsheet file (Excel .xlsx and a Google Sheets copy) plus text templates ("Get Paid Texts"). It's a one-time purchase of $39 — no subscription. Nothing physical is shipped.
Your license
- You may use and edit the kit for your own business, on your own devices and accounts.
- You may send customers the estimates and messages you create with it.
- You may not resell, share, re-upload or give away the kit files or templates themselves, or pass them off as your own product.
Refunds
If the kit isn't useful to you, email our support inbox within 14 days of purchase with the email you bought with, and we'll refund you in full. No hoops.
Not professional advice
The kit, the free calculator and everything on this site are general tools and education. They are not financial, accounting, tax, legal or insurance advice. Contract, change-order, deposit, lien, licensing and sales-tax rules vary by state and city — check your local rules or talk to a qualified professional before relying on any template.
No guarantee of results
The kit does math on the numbers you enter. We don't promise any particular income, profit, win rate or outcome. Your prices and business decisions are your own.
Accuracy
We work to keep the formulas correct. If you find an error, tell us and we'll fix it and send you the updated file. Always sanity-check a price before you send it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the kit is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid for it. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost jobs.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of TODO (state), USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
